This is the first pad I ever tried with my puppies. When I had difficulty finding them I had a mess on my hands. Every other pad on the market has a scent to draw the puppies to them however, My puppies thought someone else was using their pads and would not potty on their paper.

AMAZON was able to track down a supplier for these pads and we have been accident and mess free since I received them.

Cesar’s New Book “How to Raise the Perfect Dog: Through Puppyhood and Beyond”

Is a wonderful book. I highly recommend it

I would certainly consider seeking out adoption from a reputable rescue organization for a pure bred pup. Shelters contain 30% purebred dogs on average, and in some parts of the country more. The Hows and whys

As Cesar points out in this book, the pitfalls of buying from a pet store, as no reputable breeder, ever, ever sells to a petstore or over the internet ad.

The hows and whys are outlined in this book, and it is an easy read. Very good for all potential puppy owners, and those with a new puppy!

This product does not work. Dog is barking, no sound comes from the unit. But when you touch the unit with your hands, it beeps.

Hopefully those who thought this was a product by Cesar Millan will discover that there is a more modern, non-violent way to get great training results with their dogs. Paul shows time and time again that you don’t have to intimidate a dog into “submission” to train commands and modify behavior – the dogs on this DVD are happily and eagerly obeying their owners. Great for first time dog owners and anyone looking to improve their relationship with their dog!

Its kind of sad to read the negitive ones. I have a German Shepherd and if you are using this to train your dog, you bought it for the wrong reason. Training begins when a dog a is young, not when its full grown. Shocking the hell is not going to make your dog perfect it takes training and "commitment with a personal trainer. All I use this for is the dog park to keep him from eatting stuff off the ground, and from humping dogs.

Its kind of sad how people go about training. Most of the traing is traing our self to handle yoru animal. If they got the way they are its probley because of the lack of commitment to your animal

Callor is pefect, here is a hit to people that go through the battery fast. Stop laying your finger on the button and shocking your dog, use it only as needed. Rating: 4 / 5

Well, the vibration sensitivity makes this thing a little too iffy about when it shocks. I have had the older one too, and it was like strapping a pair of jumper cables to my dog. Which was fine. This vibrating false alarm thing is a double edged sword-it may prevent false "corrections" (aka-minor electrocutions!), but sometimes it doesnt go off when it should. I think it confused my dog more than anything else-he barks constantly anyways (never get a hound dog. Ever. Even if he's free.) but you can tell when the thing finally kicks in when the bark turns more to a long yelp.

I know the description says something like "static correction" or "deterrent". It's a shock collar, no matter what they wanna call it. If you put this on your dog, it will shock it.

The batteries last half as long in this as the older one.

The actual collar is junk. You spend 80 bucks for a shock collar, and when you get is the shock box (which is fine), screwed to a collar that would cost you about 2 dollars at a pet store. I redid it with a better collar. Rating: 3 / 5

I had to return this collar as the my dog did not respond at all to the noise making devise.

Lots of great information, good video quality. However, I would not recommend it for the $40+ it is being sold for on this site. I found elsewhere for about half the price. After having watched some the cheaper training videos out there (rented from my local library!) I just can’t say that this video offers all that more information to make it worth paying 3x their price…

For $9.99, you used to be able to get 50 Hartz pads from Amazon. Now all you can get is 32 pads. In this tight economy,Amazon should give a break to customers. This is no reflection on Hartz-they make a great dog training pad. Zero stars for Amazon. Five stars for the pad.
